The Government of Canada is focused on creating opportunities for young people across Canada to gain meaningful work experience that will set them on a path to a successful future, and that's why we are continuing our strong support for the Canada Summer Jobs program. Canada Summer Jobs helps youth aged 15 to 30 gain paid summer work experience and develop skills for the job market. In 2026, 368 local jobs are available, with 74 incredible organizations here in Ajax.
From now until July 20, of this year, these young job seekers can find local job opportunities on the Job Bank website and mobile app.
Youth can apply for summer jobs in fields that interest them, such as childcare, maintenance, auto, education, home improvement, and with non-profit organizations making a real impact in our community. Youth are encouraged to check Job Bank regularly for updates and to share exciting job opportunities with their friends.
